Use Our Spaces

Note: due to noise concerns from surrounding properties, House Conspiracy’s events must be conscious of our residential neighbours.

House Conspiracy provides space usage to arts and community groups. You can use our outdoor area, The Yard and some of our shared spaces as agreed to. To make sure everyone gets fair access to the House we only allow groups to make one usage enquiry at a time.

Private use only involves invited members of your group, collective, or team. This includes:
    •   Rehearsals
    •   Meetings
    •   Project construction
    •   Creative collaboration
    •   Private events for your group, creative business, or organisation
    •   Almost anything else that can fit
    •   Workshops

These lists are non-exhaustive, and we are open to almost anything if it aligns with our House Objective of providing accessible rights to use our spaces for community initiatives that highlight what matters. House Conspiracy is a place for the experimental, the entertaining, and the quirky. We want to see good things happen here!

If you want to use the downstairs space, please contact the Meanjin Solidarity Fund. MSF supports solidarity, direct action, and mutual aid activist groups within our community. They can be reached via meanjinsolidarityfund@protonmail.com or MSF’s social media.

We acknowledge the Turrbal and Yugara people, the First Nations custodians of the lands where House Conspiracy now stands and that sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay respect to their Elders, lores, customs and creation spirits, recognising that these lands have always been places of teaching, creativity and learning. We acknowledge the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people play within our community.
